On December25, 2009, Christmas Day is an annual Christian holiday commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. That was the first celebration of my life for ‘the’ festival, where I was a part of it. I am Hindu guy so probably, know little about this religion.
Till December24 ,2009, I every time predicted that Christmas is a festival of joy, giving gifts, sharing cakes, Christmas tree, lights, garland, etc. but as I mentioned, I was a part of yesterday’s celebration, I came to know the real gist of this holy festival. Jesus Christ taught us many things regarding responsibilities of human towards society, and how to cater the needs of underprivileged people.
Skit was all about how Santa Claus became sad, while seeing to those children who don’t have anything to celebrate. So the true celebration comes only when to award any part of things you have, to needy people.
According to Calvin Coolidge
“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.”
After skit, wishes came into flood light with lots of aspirations for welfare of social life. But my all dear friends, how those aspirations will be fulfilled? ‘Santa Claus’ is an imaginary creature, but we are all alive. If we understand this thing (wishes) then why we cant take initiatives? Why we are always thinking for ourselves? Why? Why? Why?
Probably I am not. I have a group named “INFOGUNS”, 'serving to society', in which we are 21 members, are striving hard to achieve our goals. The mission started but it takes nearly 3 years to establish. I am personally giving knowledge and guidance to the students of Hindi medium school.
Because at the end of the day, we can proudly say that we have done something in our life.
To Der Kis Bat Ki Hai. Take Initatives.
So after few years we can celebrate ‘this’ festival in a different and a special way, RIGHT!
Good Luck.
