"Rules of LIFE"

When I was attending lecture of Mr. Chand Narayan at PROTON business school, then I jotted down 11 points to live life which are based on certain parameters and rules. Through my observation in life, I tried to elaborate this topic as much as I can with some examples.

  1. I am taking 100% responsibility for whatever I have in my life. My present action for anything creates surplus values or scarcity in my life. If today I refuse to do study, then it’s true that its repercussions will be highly devastating. Probably I will get job, but my designation and my salary package wouldn’t be edge over my peers. I will be a mere effect to my organization. If I talk about past life: for e.g. I am not good in communication, its because I haven’t work hard in this section and today I am facing the problem while giving presentations and other assignments reports. And those who worked they have an edge on me. Because I haven’t worked on this section, I am the only responsible person for this.
  2. Purposeful life. Culture without organization and life without purpose is like a dead man walking around the city. There should be goals in life for different part of life and the duration is the base criteria for segregating short term, mid term and long term goals. Each and every goal can be divided into sub-goals and sub-sub-goals, and start working on those sub-goals. Every second is worth like every thing on this earth is waste.
  3. Decide what you want in life. One should have complete overviews of needs, wants and desire. As I talked about the short term and long term goal. But the ultimate vision should be clear. I still remember one incident I read in a magazine regarding Sachin R. Tendulkar. When he was bound to practice in the field, was watching cricket match on television. When his coach asked about the day practice, he admitted that he didn’t make it. Then Coach Mr. Aacherekar asked him, “Do you want to see those players on the screen or you want to be a part of it?”
  4. Belief in yourself. I would like to explain in terms of Operation management perspective. If one wants to maximize his objective function with the constraints of “greater than or less than”, don’t affect your performance. Some time there might be slack of happiness or surplus of sorrow, but dual value concept should be primary in focus, because change in dual value affect in the objective function value. Belief in yourself is the internal motivation factor which led you to achieve your goal.
  5. Ethical reason is possible. The biggest learning I got in Management College is “NO EXCUSE”. If I start shading my weakness with excuses then I am betraying myself, and the biggest impact is that I don’t want other to degrade my standard of learning or living. But yes if excuses are substantiate with the cause and the cause-effect relationship is justified then excuse is permissible.
  6. Visualize it. Until you dream, you can’t think. The value of Idea is zero, until and unless it is implemented. So visualize your goal and understand the level of happiness and according to that dream, start working to get that happiness.
  7. Take action. This is the second step and most important part of establishing your own ambiance. One management philosophy work in the manufacturing sector. If you want to start a manufacturing unit, then maximum capacity should be one third of your start up capacity. Initially take small steps and then think for big steps.
  8. Act like the person. One should be person oriented not product oriented or result oriented. Robots don’t do mistakes and human beings are not robot, so mistakes can be accepted and try to overcome those mistakes.
  9. Be scared and let’s do it. Don’t postpone things or work for the next day, do it now. Even one legend said that never panic with the work, but being panic until it is completed. Little bit frighten is necessary for being in the work, but don’t overpower it on yourself.
  10. Ask, Ask, And Ask. You are the right person to judge on yourself. Do SWOT analysis for your own image. And get the right feedback for the same. Johari window is also helpful in assessing oneself.
  11. I refuse to take rejection.Don’t compromise your dream with the results. One day everyone will get the milestone of appreciation.
I am not claiming that I am following all rules, which I have mentioned. As I am also in a learning stage and learning to follow these rules in life.

"Love or Patriotism"

Ishq aur dosti meri zindagi ke do Jahan hai,
Ishq meri Rooh to Dosti mera
Imaan hai.

Ishq par to kar du fida apni zindagi,

Magar dosti par to mera ishq bhi kuban hai.

If this is true then what is the meaning of patriotism in life. I am not stating that everything in our life is dedicated to our country, but there is some stands on which gross thinking is required. I know you come to understand the topic which I want to make sense on it. Yes, I am talking about upcoming marriage of Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistan’s former cricket captain and member Shoaib Malik. Every corner of the world knows the tensions prevailing at the border of the two nations, India and Pakistan. Terrorist keep destroying our country time to time whether it was Parliament attack, Mumbai serial blasts, Jodhpur blasts or Mumbai 26/11 attack, and the country always think on the positive note and draw conclusion to not to go for fight. That defines the culture of India but at what length we the Indian can take care of our culture. So this is one face of the coin.

There should be no relation with Pakistan at any cost. Just as we have cancelled the cricket matches with this country. So for other relations as well, until and unless they agree for peace at borders and Kashmir issue. As in the news as well, Indian prosecutor asserted that Azmal Kasab was a well trained army person of Pakistan, and the 26/11 attack was well planned as well. This is the time to think on those people who some or other part lost their son, husband, and father. We should have courtesy for those people, who day nights wake for our sleep.

Last week Shoaib Malik came to Hyderabad, India, to get marry with Sania Mirza. His old father-in-law Iqbal Siddhaqi made FI, first investigation in the Banzara Hills police station. He claimed that his daughter, Aysha and Shoaib already got marry. On the other hand, Shoaib proclaimed that his marriage with Sania will be on April15. Although there was a huge conflict between Aaysha and Shoaib, and he negated the marriage as well. Still Sania wants to marry with him.

Sania Mirza, the personality who represents India in all world class tennis tournaments, is taking decisions which may hamper the image of her and the matter of question is that now Sania will represent which country, India or Pakistan. On the other hand, with three allegations viz. fraud, dowry revenge and torturing on Shoaib made him in big trouble. His passport is under police custody, he is not allowed to leave the country i.e., India. For this, all airports of India are at alert state, and he is not allowed to take flight for anywhere. $1 million of money to keep silent is also come in light. Finally if, all allegations become proved then he will be in a big problem. Even Pakistan embassy can not do anything, only he can asks for help, because when the compliant was made, he was in India not in Pakistan.

I think his bad time continues from last couple of weeks before. He was also alleged as a match fixer for Pakistan cricket.

If he is such kind of person, why Sania still wants to marry with him? She has to think for a country first, and then she should have to think for herself. She also have to understand one thing that she is a role model for many young girls who want to aspire their career in tennis. Let see what will happen.

"Education bhi ek Right hai" RTE

"This is our book of business"

The day comes when every Indian child was waiting from last 100 years, where right to free and compulsory education is come into existence in the State. Basic education to be primary rights to each and every child of India. This is one of the biggest steps taken by Indian Government.

ON April 1 a historic law comes into being - the Right to Education Bill, providing for free and compulsory education for all children in the age group of 6-14 years.

The positive wind of child education was blowing from last couple of years, and its intensity increased year by year. Every person whether he belongs to poor cadre of society or from a rich class well understands the real importance of child education. They know that education not only increasing the knowledge of their child but also help in their development of both physiological, and psychological. Educated people understand the real dynamics of the country and world. It also helps in their intellectual development. They will be become part of core system not ancillary one. Policy makers also understand the nature of education to the children, i.e., what kind of education is required? How people will take it? And couple of other questions. But when it turns to the amount of pressure to child, it is devastating. Syllabus or curriculum should be designed in such a manner which decreases the weight of bags and other education supportive system like tuition etc. One of the biggest importance of child education is that it reduces the number of child marriages in society, which also include unmatched and unwanted marriages. Even every parent want their child to be self sufficient with full of honors- they earn their livelihood by not doing working in lower kind of work but will work in the offices.

RTE, Right to Education is self explanatory word, which means, this right will provide free and compulsory education to every child of India. There is no reason to deny the fact that after India independence, there occur many reforms in this sector. People of middle and higher class understand the importance of this from years ago, but this RTE lead people of lower class and BPL to get full use of it. Data heralded that within the proximity of 1 Km. 98% Indian society is covered with primary schools. On the other hand approximately 92% areas have high school with in the proximity of 3 Km. Although with this kind of infrastructure in India, children are still away from the reach to schools. The reason may be that children are busy in doing work of home, or working in the agricultural field, taking care of cattle, taking care of their own child by doing early marriages. Some children drop their education in the mid because of lack of finance or capital. In the area of RTE, children who are bagging on the street, living scarce and unsafe life and others are will be undercover of this umbrella.

The basics of education should be beyond the sky of free and compulsory education. Student once enter in the educational institute will get all kind of practical and theoretical knowledge. It should be two way communications where discussion on the topic should be fruitful for the development of children. Curriculum should be designed in such a way that it foreseen not only present near time but also consider future aura. Friendly environment is needed in such kind of ambiance by dissolving traditional approach of teaching.

Everything should be elegant in near future so that people prefer their children to take admissions in government schools, where real quality and practical knowledge can be delivered. All kind of basics like good friendly environment, broad thinking, quality teachers, good management, result oriented curriculum, time to support required curriculum, number of regular periods, bio-facilities like clean and hygiene washrooms, pure water, mid-day meal, etc. should be there. For supporting practical knowledge schools have laboratory of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths where real problems can be applied and make student understand the same.

But I believe that there should be no reservation in terms of seats allocating to scheduled caste and scheduled tribes or other minorities. Although government can support them financially but on knowledge part there should be no consideration and discrimination. We (India) need to think in this direction as well.

"Other Face of Manish Ramje"

When things are going well you feel happy and when same things starts creating problems then some other person of your life feel sad, and start sorting the problems as much as they can. Some time life starts playing with you and you don' t have other option, but ready to accept it, and it contrasted when you have some other person with whom you start playing with life. These persons are none other but friends, friends of yours, friends of mine or friends of any XYZ person.

Seriously, I am a kind of person who always take care of my friends, so results are in front of me, when I realized that and they also showed that I am keeping special position in their heart. Without love or lover I can live and honestly I am living my life to the fullest, but when I imagine my life without those poor, boring, dirty but lovely fellows, which I called my friends, is impossible. Even these are the condition with most of us, as we gone through our graduation and have entertaining friends, which helps in every aspect of our life.

I can write to that extent about my friends which is nominal but exceptional, but when I am thinking to write, then suddenly I realized that Google has very limited space and they can't afford my blog to store in the cloud. Okay, I considered as an implicit request and do not write too much about those fellows, which are un-detachable part of my life.
I have two best (I know there is one thing at a time is best, but I have two) groups of friends named "SUPER-8" and "INFOGUNS". "SUPER-8" is of school friends and "INFOGUNS" is of college friends. Even today I can't compare the intensity of affection of these groups with me, that which one is better for me. And I think, I am right, not to compare these two groups, because they are of different time horizon and have different story of formation.
During the business school tenure, I always avoid to meet with any of the group. This doesn't mean that I don’t want to be, but when I come in contact of any group then I forget the present and start living in the past, which led me to recreate my present in 6-8 hours. Ya, that's true and I think this is the frequency which I believe is important and lasting for long.

Probably, I am thinking for the establishment of one more groups in present college, which also have good tuning among each other.

I can't express my feelings towards my friends, because of intangible property associated with it. I am going to explain my feeling to some extent by these songs;

Yaro Dostiiiii

Yaaron dosti bahi hi haseen hai

Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindgi hai
Koi to ho raajdaan
Be garaj tera ho yaar
Koi to ho raajdaan

Yaaron mohabbat hi to bandgi hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
bolo yeh zindgi hai
Koi to dilbar ho yaar
Jisko tujhse ho pyaar
Koi to dilbar ho yaar

Teri har ke buraai pe
daante vo dost
Gam ki ho dhoop to
saaya bane tera vo dost
Naache bhi vo
Teri khushi main

Yaaron dosti bahi hi haseen hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindgi hai
Koi to ho raajdaan
Be garaj tera ho yaar
Koi to ho raajdaan

Tan mann kar tum pe fida
Mahboob vo
Palkon pe jo rakhe tujhe
Mahboob vo
Jiski vafa tere liye ho

Are Yaaron dosti bahi hi haseen hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindgi hai
Koi to dilbar ho yaar
Jisko tujhse ho pyaar

"14 years long tunnel"

Although tunnels are thousands of years old, but surprisingly one tunnel is 14 years old. This tunnel is the evidence of 60 years old democracy, world’s biggest democracy, i.e., India. I am talking about the 33% reservation at Indian houses viz. upper house and lower house. Women Reservation bill was passed by upper house on March9, 2010, with the support of 186 members. This day it-self become history when Rajya Sabha announced 33% reservation for women. The ordinance was made in 1996 for the first time to see the sight in the distinctive manner. This bill not only important because Rajya Sabha has passed it, but it is also important for the defeat of protester who were against of it. This bill gives the impression of the step taken by government for the welfare of women of the country and showed patriotism.

But if we analyzed the whole talk and gist of the bill, it was clearly seen on March8, 2010, World Women’s Day, that people who were against of it had crossed all limits of humanity, which resulted them to suspend from the session of House. Lalu Prasad Yadav claimed it as dictatorship of the House and the Speaker. But the voices of those 1/4th protesters were also autocratic, against the ideology of the government and also dictating the voices of 3/4th of the population of House.

Protesters were demanding reservation for Backward classes and Muslim minority under those 33% reservation bill. But the main thing is that there is no reservation for men of Backward class, so why for women of backward class. The same case is also with Muslim minority and their reservation, i.e., no legitimate reservation to the people on the basis of their religion. So why protest occurred? is illogical for those people who were doing this.

So there is only one light of hope near the tunnel’s mouth and the whole path is still black. Now the above passed bill has to go further to lower house and the same amount of enthusiasm both positive and negative, is still awaited to see in Lok Sabha. After the signature of the President of India, the bill has to pass through political turbulence, so the required commitment is needed thought-out the journey of this bill and its implementation. So the half population has enjoyment on the verge of rest population.
